A great weekend was had by all who attended the combined gig with City of Bunbury Community Band at Bunbury on 15th & 16th Sept 2012.

Most of us stayed at the Dolphin Retreat YHA with others billeted with friends or at the Lord Forrest. On arrival we rehearsed at the CBCB band room before adjourning to the “Worlds Kitchen” nearby for a delightful evening meal. Some great conversation and shared experiences were had by all. Next morning we assembled at the southern end of Forrest Park near the miniature railway layout for a two hour concert that went extremely well. This was followed by a much welcome BBQ with more refreshments and chats with opposite numbers. All in all, a great weekend which appears to now be an annual event.
